1. Introduction
Welcome to Calms. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the purchase of products offered through it. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Calms reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those updates.
2. Product Information
All Calms jewelry is crafted in solid precious metals, including recycled 18K gold and platinum, and set with lab-grown diamonds or gemstones unless otherwise specified.
Diamonds are carefully selected for quality, proportion, and brilliance. Select larger diamonds may be accompanied by certification from independent gemological laboratories such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the International Gemological Institute (IGI), depending on the stone and design.
Diamond grading is based on standards established by independent gemological laboratories like GIA and IGI. Because grading involves professional judgment, slight variations may occur between laboratories or individual gemologists. Such variations are inherent to the grading process and do not constitute a defect.
Gemstones, including diamonds and colored stones, may exhibit natural characteristics such as inclusions, color variation, or internal features. These characteristics are part of the individuality of each stone. Variations in color, tone, or appearance may also occur due to lighting conditions and screen displays and are not considered defects.
All gold jewelry is produced in solid 18K gold and hallmarked 750, indicating 75 percent pure gold content. All platinum jewelry is crafted in solid platinum and hallmarked PT950, indicating 95 percent pure platinum content. Each piece is also stamped with the Calms maker’s mark and NYC, identifying where it is made.
Because each piece is handcrafted, slight variations in polish, finish, size, weight, stone placement, and dimension may occur. These subtle differences are a natural result of artisanal craftsmanship and are not considered defects.
Product images and 3d renderings are provided for illustrative purposes. While every effort is made to display products accurately, variations in scale, color, and appearance may occur depending on screen settings.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Calms reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice. In the event of a pricing error, Calms reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order placed at the incorrect price.
Applicable taxes and shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
4. Orders
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not constitute final acceptance of the order. Calms reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
5. Made-to-Order and Custom Pieces
Many Calms designs are made to order or bespoke/custom - customized to your specifications, metal, and/or size.
Made-to-order, bespoke, engraved, resized, or otherwise customized pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Custom design projects follow an approved design and production process. Once production begins, deposits are non-refundable.
6. Shipping
Calms offers insured shipping on all orders.
Shipping timelines may vary depending on whether a piece is one-of-a-kind, in stock, or made to order. Estimated production and delivery times will be communicated on a product page or during or after the ordering process.
Made to order pieces means production begins after the order is confirmed and typically takes 3-8 weeks to complete.
Calms is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control.
7. No Returns
Each Calms piece is either a one-of-a-kind piece or made to order, therefore we do not accept returns.
Select designs at Calms are released as one-of-a-kind pieces featuring unique gemstones or individually crafted settings. Because these designs cannot be replicated or restocked, all one-of-a-kind pieces are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Made to order pieces are crafted specifically for the client at the time an order is placed. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges once an order has been confirmed.
Our jewelry is produced slowly and individually through a process that includes stone sourcing, custom production, quality checks, and hand finishing. As a result, all sales are considered final sale.
Order Review
We encourage clients to review their order carefully before completing a purchase, including:

Custom & Bespoke Designs are final sale
All bespoke, custom, and personalized pieces, including items with engraving, custom stone sourcing, or modified designs, are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or if you believe you received an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email]. We will review the issue and work with you to resolve it promptly.
Production Variations
Each Calms piece is crafted by hand. Slight variations in finish, stone characteristics, or small details may occur and are considered part of the individuality of fine jewelry. These natural variations do not qualify as defects.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, designs, text, logos, and product designs, is the intellectual property of Calms and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without prior written permission.
Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
