Do you accept returns?
We do not accept returns. Because every piece is carefully made to order or a one-of-a-kind piece, all purchases are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. 

When will I receive my order? 
One-of-a-kind pieces that are currently in stock typically ship within a few business days. All other designs are crafted to order. Production for made-to-order pieces generally requires 3–8 weeks before shipment. Custom and bespoke designs may require additional time depending on the complexity of the project.

Where is your jewelry made?
Calms jewelry is designed and crafted in New York City’s Diamond District using solid 18K gold or platinum and finished by hand by our team of experienced jewelers.

What materials do you use?
All pieces are crafted in solid recycled 18K yellow or rose gold or platinum and set with high-quality lab-grown diamonds or responsibly sourced gemstones. Please email us any specific materials requests. 

Is your jewelry solid or hollow?
All Calms jewelry is crafted in solid precious metal and the design is never hollow. Where a design includes a bail or passage for a chain, the opening is part of the intended structure and is clearly shown in the product images and description.

Are your diamonds certified?
Many diamonds, particularly stones over one carat, are independently certified by leading gemological laboratories such as Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or International Gemological Institute (IGI). Please email us any specific diamond sourcing requests.

Are your diamonds real?
Yes, lab-grown diamonds are real. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds have the same hardness and durability as mined diamonds. They rank 10 on the Mohs scale, making them suitable for everyday wear and heirloom jewelry.  

How do I determine my ring size?
We recommend visiting a local jeweler for the most accurate measurement. If you need additional assistance, we can help guide you through sizing before production begins.

Can rings be resized?
Most ring styles can be resized within a limited range. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure about sizing.

Can my order be canceled?
Calms reserves the right to cancel any order that appears fraudulent, unauthorized, or in violation of our policies. Orders may also be canceled if payment cannot be verified or if we are unable to confirm billing or shipping information. If an order is canceled, a full refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

Do you offer custom or bespoke designs?
Yes. Calms offers bespoke engagement rings, heirloom redesign, and custom commissions created in collaboration with our NYC design team. Please email us concierge@calmsjewelry.com to begin the process.

Can jewelry be engraved?
Yes, select pieces may be engraved with initials, significant dates, or a short personal inscription. Please contact us to discuss engraving options and placement.

How should I care for my jewelry?
To preserve the beauty of fine jewelry, we recommend removing pieces before heavy activity, exercise, or swimming. Store jewelry individually to prevent contact with other pieces that may cause scratches. Clean periodically with warm water, a mild soap, and a soft brush, then dry with a soft cloth. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or perfumes. With thoughtful care, fine jewelry crafted in solid 18K gold or platinum can be worn and enjoyed for generations.
